Cooking and making special candies and sweets for our family at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Halloween has always been a very special hobby that I have enjoyed doing for many, many years.  I remember being in the kitchen with my mom, making cookies and candies, and always looking forward to doing it again.  Eventually, that was turned into making homemade peanut butter balls and chocolate suckers for our church at Easter time.  Eventually, I added making cheesecakes, cream pies (and other pies), pumpkin rolls, banana puddings, moose, you name it, even special character birthday cakes for my kids.  It has always been something special that I have enjoyed making with my kids when they were little, and then later adding my niece at Halloween time to make fun cookies and cutting out pumpkins together.

Up until now, everything that we have ever made was always been given away.  Bringing families together and seeing smiling faces has always been the goal and reason to make everything we make year after year.  Now, it's time to turn this hobby into an adventure and see what can become of it.  We would really love your love and support.

The best part about making special sweets is seeing the smiling faces of children and families that order special homemade sweets and the smile it brings to their special day.  There's something about homemade sweets that make birthdays, holiday gatherings, and special events even more special.  We don't ever want to over charge or make people feel ripped off.  We want to give them good, quality items that they can enjoy and not feel like they had to spend too much to enjoy their day.  We also want to find a way to give back to the community by donating a percentage to people in need and would love to share that story with each of you once an opportunity like that should arise.

So, you have read the back story.  Now, how did this really get started?  My sister-in-law, Tami Reichard and I, were at the gym, you know, working off all of the goodies that we love to eat, talking about candies and such when she says, you should make a go of this and sell it.  I said something to the effect of yeah, right, that would be a lot of work.  Then, she said, I would help you.  We laughed at the humor of starting something like this, but then continued to meet at the gym, workout, talk about, and even investigate what it would take to do this.  Eventually, the talk went from laughing to okay, maybe.  So, here we are, making a go of it for now.  Now, all it takes is you.  Thank you for listening and we hope to see you soon!
